The Thirty-Nine Steps
Most people know ‘The 39 Steps’ as an iconic black and white film directed by Hitchcock. The play, however, is fast moving, witty and hilarious – a romp of a spy thriller. At Detling Village Hall on Thursday 8th November, Friday 9th at 7:30 pm and on Saturday 10th at 2:30pm and 7:30 pm. Charity Donation Some of the proceeds from The 39 Steps will go to the Bluebells Charity, a respite centre for children with special needs. Forthcoming EventsVictoria & Albert Museum Trip Sue McLaggan has just received the latest mailing from the V&A and they are going to have a Residency in Costume for Film by Hayley Nebauer. Entry is free and drop in. This is a chance to meet a film costume designer and bring your questions. Would anyone like to join a small group who are going on Saturday 8th December?
