We are a friendly and energetic community theatre group based in the village of Detling, Near Maidstone, Kent, England.

Next Production

Boy with a cart

"The Boy with The Cart" is the story of the miraculous building of Steyning Church in medieval times.

Following the death of his father, a young boy, Cuthman was prompted to travel 200 miles from Cornwall, wheeling his mother along in a cart!

The Detling Players  will read and enact the play in Boxley Church on Saturday 12th May, starting at 7.30.

Refreshments will be provided at the start and end. Seats will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Donations are invited.
